My Favorite Podcasts - Seasonal Selections

I don't know about you, but I've grown absolutely in love with podcasts! It surprises me, really, because I can't listen to an audio book to save my neck! Five minutes in an my mind is already wondering and I have no idea what the story is even about.  That makes me sad, really, but it is what it is. But with podcasts its completely different, especially when the host is interviewing a guest and it makes for a lively conversation. There is just something entirely different about the format that easily holds my attention.
In recent months I've taken to listening to one every day over lunch, which I usually try to have sorted ahead of time, and with the arrival of September and the pending new season, that set me on the hunt for some episodes with a cozy, autumn theme.

Homemaking With the Seasons - Autumn - Becky O. Cole - My absolute FAVORITE podcast!
Autumn Seasonal Guide - Nature, Gardening, Food and Foraging - Another with Becky O. Cole!

I did want to add in closing that often when researching seasonal living, one can easily find themselves delving into alternative religions and belief systems. You may come across this in a few of the podcasts I have linked above. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I am careful not expose myself to anything that would oppose scripture, but at the same time, I often re-work things you might say, and view everything through the lens of God and Christianity. For instance, some belief systems attribute powers to specific stones, and since I believe in the healing powers of herbs, it's not hard for me to accept that there could be healing properties in stones as well? Where I differ in my beliefs about them is that if such powers exist, I attribute that power to God and give praise to Him. I don't worship the stone, I worship the creator of the stone. For me nothing exists outside of God. If an herb or a flower has healing properties, I believe that is an extension of God Himself, and that without Him they would be merely rocks and weeds. If you are not a Christian and believe differently, you are still welcomed here and I pray that we can learn from one another. My only rule, I suppose you would say, is that we treat one another with respect.

With that being said,  I do hope you find a few things here to enjoy, and if you do, please leave a comment and share! I'd love to hear from you!
