"Life is not, for most of us, a pageant of splendor, but is made up of many small things, rather like an old fashioned piecework quilt. No two people have the same, but we all have our own, whether it be listening to Beethoven's fifth with a beloved friend, or seeing a neighbor at the back door with a basket of white dahlias. Or after a long, hard day, having the family say, "That was a good supper."

In no particular order, here are three things that inspired me recently.
One of my favorite podcasts! I just love her monthly almanacs!
I recently discovered that this series of books is available on Hoopla. Other than vintage children's books, I'm not big on fiction, but something about this series has intrigued me for awhile now, so I may give it a try. The other books in the series are The Cinnamon Bun Book Store, The Christmas Tree Farm, and The Strawberry Patch Pancake House. Have you read any of them, and if so, what did you think? I'd love to hear!
I just LOVE these little letters! They would so pretty as a personal touch on a Christmas present. But alas, I thought they were crocheted, but unfortunately (for me), they are knitted. I've TRIED to to learn to knit so-many-times, and I just can't get it! Oh well, they are still beautiful enough to appreciate, and maybe I can find some crocheted one that are just as lovely!
